The Corporate Image is a relatively new concept in the field of Administration. Systematic study and work began in the decade of the 30s in the consultancy business in UK and US, evolving from merely appearence concepts to a means of operationalization of Corporate Strategy organizations. This has led to the fact that the corporate image has become an autonomous discipline.
The Corporate Image can be defined: "... as a system whose dynamic involves the creation of an organization image which interacts with the public by spontaneous or managed Corporate Identity communication, which is influenced by a particular surrounding context called Corporate Reality. "
This system meets four components: Corporate Reality, Corporate Identity, Communication and Image.
